Keep Santa Fe Beautiful Named First Keep America Beautiful “Affiliate of the Month”

Keep Santa Fe Beautiful has been chosen as the first “Affiliate of the Month” in a new Keep America Beautiful® program to highlight work being done across their network of 700 certified affiliates. The new series will first recognize affiliates who received awards from KAB in 2020. Keep Santa Fe Beautiful received an Innovation Award for the construction of Santa Fe’s first entry-way sign on a highway median coming off of U.S. 84-285.

The “Affiliate of the Month” spotlight features a Q&A with Executive Director Carol Branch to discuss the work the non-profit does in Santa Fe. The video interview and transcript of the questions are posted on the Keep America Beautiful website and have also been shared on their social media pages. The announcement also includes an “Affiliate of the Month – Volunteer Spotlight” to feature the hard work of a dedicated KSFB Volunteer – Linda Duran, the Education Chair of the KSFB Board of Directors.

“It is a great honor to receive national recognition from Keep America Beautiful in this new program,” said Carol Branch, KSFB Executive Director and Environmental Services Division Program Manager. “I am so proud of everything KSFB has accomplished in the last few years and even more excited for everything we have planned for 2022!” Watch the full video below.
