In honor of Memorial Day, all City of Santa Fe offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, May 26. This includes the Santa Fe Municipal Court, all recreation centers, all senior centers, and all branches of the Santa Fe Public Library. While library buildings will be closed, you can still return books using the outdoor drop boxes. Santa Fe Trails buses, Santa Fe Ride services, and the Transit Administration office will also not be running.
One exception is the Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe Golf Course, which will be open for regular play.
If you’re parking downtown, meters will not be enforced on Memorial Day. That means you can park in metered spaces without paying. However, this only applies to metered spots—surface lots and parking garages will still require payment.
There will be no residential trash or recycling pickup on Monday. Instead, collection will happen one day later than usual for the rest of the week. Please have your carts out by 7:00 a.m. on your rescheduled pickup day. Commercial trash collection will stay on its regular schedule.
Thanks for planning ahead, and have a safe and peaceful Memorial Day.
