your-paragraph-text-43

The 2025 Fiesta de Taos is right around the corner, and the lineup is packed with music, dance, tradition, and celebration. This beloved annual event will take place at Kit Carson Memorial Park in Taos from Friday, July 25 through Sunday, July 27, with just a couple of exceptions—the Friday Fiesta Mass and Procession, as well as the two parades, which happen offsite.

Friday, July 25 – Kicking Things Off

Festivities begin at noon on Friday at Kit Carson Park with local favorites like The Lumbros, Maggie “La Rancherita” Vigil, Mystic Dance, Martin & Company, Mike Rael, and Destino from Taos.

At 5:00 p.m., the community is invited to attend the Fiesta Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, followed by a beautiful procession with Mariachi Xochitl.

Back at the park, music picks up again at 6:00 p.m. with the Lucero Brothers and Band, leading into the official Opening Ceremonies at 7:00 p.m. From there, the party continues with Louie Moya y La Gente and Broken Road closing out the night before the park closes at 10:00 p.m.

Saturday, July 26 – A Full Day of Celebration

Saturday starts early with traditional Northern New Mexico music at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Children’s Parade at 10:00 a.m., beginning at Enos Garcia Elementary and accompanied by Mariachi Xochitl.

Throughout the day, you can catch performances from Mystic Dance, Uptown Band, Antonio Reyna, Pete Martinez y Suave, Northern Revolution of Española, and Legacy Band of Colorado Springs. The evening heats up with Una Mas y La Chacha, Legacy of Santa Fe Band, and Romelo Da Vibe leading into the big dance of the night—Black Pearl’s Gran Baile de la Fiesta, from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Sunday, July 27 – A Grand Finale

Sunday starts on a reflective note with the St. Francis Choir and a performance by Lluvia Negra. At 11:00 a.m., the Historical Parade will begin at the Taos County Courthouse.

Live music continues at Kit Carson Park with The UZ Band, another set from Black Pearl, and a special appearance by Michael “Miguel” Martin Murphey, a multiple Grammy nominee and Academy of Country Music Award winner. Time Machine, Carlos Medina Band, Simpatico, and Severo Martinez y Fuego round out the lineup.

Before the final act, a special presentation will honor this year’s Fiesta honorees at 3:30 p.m., leading into the Closing Ceremonies at 7:00 p.m.

Fiesta de Taos 2026

Mark your calendars—next year’s Fiesta de Taos is already scheduled for July 17–19, 2026. But first, let’s enjoy the music, community, and cultural pride that makes this event such a treasured tradition in Northern New Mexico.
