Congratulations to Lucia Porterfield-Ortiz, the 2021 Zozobra National Anthem singer!
According to the Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe, Lucia is a senior vocalist at the New Mexico School for the Arts. She grew up in Santa Fe with a love for the arts.
As a musical theatre performer and writer, Lucia has performed with the Santa Fe Youth Collaborative Theatre in the shows The Mad Ones and Little Women. She has also performed in a series of school concerts and musicals.
Lucia does creative and lyrical writing along with studying music. As this talented young performer says, “Zozobra is a tradition I’ve always loved and to be a part of it is amazing!”
