The 313th Santa Fe Fiesta is here, bringing a week packed with music, tradition, and community fun. Festivities kick off with the Pre-Fiesta Show on Friday, August 22 at the Santa Fe Plaza, followed by the famous Burning of Zozobra on Friday, August 29 at Fort Marcy Park. Enjoy performances like the Mariachi Extravaganza at The Santa Fe Opera on Saturday, August 30, and the Mariachi Matinee at The Lensic on Wednesday, September 3. There’s also the Baile de Oro for those 55 and older, the Fiesta Fine Arts & Crafts Market from August 30 to September 1, and food booths from September 5 to 7.

The official opening of Fiesta happens Friday, September 5, with the Pregón de la Fiesta at the Rosario Chapel at 6 AM, followed by the City and State Opening Ceremony at noon. Throughout the weekend, the Bandstand will feature a variety of performances including mariachi, flamenco, local bands, and dance groups. Highlights include the Gran Baile with Red Wine Band on Saturday night, the Desfile de los Niños (Children’s Pet Parade) on Saturday morning, and the Desfile de la Gente (Historical/Hysterical Parade) on Sunday.

Religious traditions continue with the Solemn Procession and Pontifical Mass on Sunday, September 7, followed by the Closing Ceremonies and the Vesper Candlelight Procession at the Cathedral Basilica. With so many events—from arts and crafts to music, dance, and cultural ceremonies—there’s something for everyone to enjoy at this year’s Santa Fe Fiesta.
