On this heartwarming edition of Save Water Santa Fe, Patricio Pacheco of the City of Santa Fe Conservation and Sustainability Division is joined by his daughter, Addie, for a joyful conversation about community, conservation, and the next generation of environmental stewards. They celebrate the success of the Toss No Más cleanup, where nearly 2,000 volunteers helped remove close to 13,000 pounds of litter from Santa Fe, and share highlights from the special youth fishing derby at Nichols Reservoir. Patricio also offers timely, practical advice on winterizing irrigation systems, protecting rain barrels and cisterns, using water-saving sensors, and signing up for the EyeOnWater leak-alert tool. Full of family spirit and useful local information, this episode is a reminder that every small action can help protect Santa Fe’s water, natural beauty, and future.
