Amado discusses Make Music Day with Evan Galpert and Shannon ONeil
The Summer Solstice is Make Music Day!
Tuesday June 21st, Santa Fe is joining over 1000 cities across the globe to fill the streets with music -and it’s all free!
You can see live bands at Tumbleroot or Santa Fe Brewing Co, you can do Karaoke on the Plaza Bandstand, you can even attend free classes at the Southside Public Library, like a free harmonica class.
Come get a free harmonica and learn how to play in the same morning. Or teens can get a free guitar lesson at the Boys and Girls Club Teen Center thanks to Queen Bee Music Alliance. Anyone can swing by the candyman and join our drum circle from 1-5, with bucket drums and steel pan drums to play, or byob- bring your own bongos!
